The Setting is registered as a charity under the Charities Commission (Reg. No. 1105598) and with Ofsted as a Full Day Care setting (URN EY297068). It is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and has adopted their constitution. One of the charity’s aims is to provide affordable childcare to families within our local vicinity. Happy Days is also a member of the National Day Nurseries Association.
Happy Days Childcare rents out their premises from Ecton Brook Primary School. In April 2009, we moved to new premises located within the new Children’s Centre within the School, which enabled us to increase from sessional to full day care to meet the demands of our service. The premises has a separate designated area for the Nursery, which other users do not access, this is an open plan indoor area with children’s toilets, disabled toilet/changing area and a practical/kitchen area. With our own undercovered area and outdoor area, it allows free flow access to children at all times.
